"On the way" from the Chichibu distillery in Japan is made from a selection of 3 different casks - 2 bourbon barrels and 1 Mizunara Japanese white oak, the later containing some of the oldest whisky made at the distillery. A nose of pear, malt and popcorn, with tropical notes on the palate finishing with hints of pepper.
